A giant face has appeared on cliffs in Cornwall in the UK after a huge rockfall.

Footage captured on April 11 at Carnewas near Newquay showed the 30-metre Neanderthal-like visage jutting out from the rock.

The cliffs in Carnewas, formerly known as Bedruthan Steps, are notoriously unstable.

The location is often used in commercial advertising shoots.

Bedruthan is famous for the standing stacks of stone on the beach. The most famous was the Queen Bess rock which lost it's head several years ago. The location is frequently used in commercial advertising shoots. Part of the access with cafe and gift shop is owned by The National Trust however after legal action The Trust was forced to drop the Bedruthan name in favour of Carnewas. A neighbouring land owner has the rights to the name Bedruthan Steps.
