Watch China's youngest rock climber, a 9-year-old girl, smash a record by scaling a tough mountainside in Yangshuo, Guangxi Province.

The video shows the girl nimbly climbing a mountain in Yangshuo, a world-famous rock climbing resort.

She became the youngest climber in China and the sixth female climber in China to complete the 5.14A difficulty climbing route.

It is understood that Wang Muyi, only 9 years and 2 months old this year, has been interested in rock climbing since her childhood. She has been practising climbing for nearly four years with the support of her parents.

The route that Wang Muyi successfully challenged is in Yangshuo, Guangxi. It is the local white Mountain route, CHINA CLIMB, well known in the field of climbing, developed by an Australian named Logan Barber in October 2006. It was first completed by a Chinese climber called Liu Yongbang in 2008 and the route was then named "China Climb".

The video was filmed on April 6 and provided by local media with permission.
