A man from central India's Madhya Pradesh has entered the record books for using the maximum number of scissors simultaneously for cutting hair.

Aditya Jagdish Chandra Dewada, 26, used 28 pairs of scissors- 14 pairs in each hand- while breaking the record on March 10, 2022.

His attempt received validation from the India Book of Records on March 15, 2022.

Visuals showed the man picking up 14 pairs in each hand and using it to cut hair. He expertly glides through the hair of a man, clipping it.

Speaking to Newslions, Aditya said, "I have been practicing this for four years now. I saw a Chinese hair stylist using several pairs of scissors and wanted to break the record."

Aditya is presently the world record holder, but is awaiting confirmation from Guinness Book of World Record to make it official.

"I will apply there [Guinness]," he said.

"When I started, I practiced with four pairs and slowly added volumes over the years," Aditya added.

The 26-year-old plans to cut hair with 35-36 pairs of scissors simultaneously, to bolster his record.
