Firefighters in China hold funeral procession to bid farewell to 8-year-old rescue dog
Chinese firefighters held a ceremony to bid farewell to an 8-year-old rescue dog who passed away in southern China.
Filmed in Chongqing city, the video shows firefighters dressed up in formal blue uniforms and one of them holding the dog named Bei Bei who passed away from an illness.
Then the firefighters took off their hats and gave him a solemn salute. Pictures at the end of the video show Bei Bei during training exercises.
During his service time, Bei Bei participated in 74 rescue missions and rescued 16 trapped people.
His trainer said: “As long as there are people trapped in the rescue, Bei Bei is there."
The video was filmed on April 11 provided by local media with permission.
