Wholesome moment toddler helps his older autistic sister walk down stairs in China
This was the heartwarming moment a 1-year-old boy helped his 13-year-old autistic sister down a flight of stairs in southern China.
In the footage captured in Fuzhou city, Jiangxi Province, the girl tried to walk down the steps several times but was still too afraid to go.
The younger brother then climbed up the steps on his hands and feet, and then took his sister’s hands and walked down the steps. With the support of her brother, the girl finally walked down bravely.
Their mom said: "They are very close. Since the boy was born, he has been there with his sister every day. Usually at home, the brother will help his sister to wear shoes, or help put delicious food in his sister's mouth.”
The video was filmed on April 12 and provided by local media with permission.
