A puppy was rescued after his head was stuck inside a coconut while looking for food.

The white stray was leaking the fruit and poked itself inside the brown shell in Chonburi province, Thailand on April 6.

He was wandering on a backyard when local Tichall Tichakorn and friends found him and helped take his head out of the fruit.

Footage shows the dog with the coconut on his head as locals tried to take it out.

Tichall said: ‘This puppy is so cute and naughty. He managed to choose the coconut that was just about the size of his head.’

After slowly trying to pull it out, the group was eventually able to free the dog’s head. The puppy was unhurt and fed. He was apparently stuck inside the coconut fora few hours only.

The stray was then adopted by Tichall to live with her other pet dogs at home.
