An elephant strayed on the roads and attacked the passers-by in Sri Lanka's Uva Province on April 10.

The incident took place in Buttala town, located in the Monaragala district.

Visuals feature the elephant lingering on the edge of the forest cover, occasionally appearing on the road to attack the passers-by. Later, the jumbo walks on the street and looks for something to munch on.

The elephants in the region often appear on the roads and attack the passers-by in search of food.
