Members of the Christian religious community living in Azerbaijan visited Christian religious monuments in Khojavend region on the occasion of Easter. They prayed to God and wished peace to our people, as they were able to celebrate their holy holidays in our liberated lands after nearly 30 years of occupation.

During the visit, which was supported by the Foundation for the Propagation of Moral Values ​​and initiated by Christian communities, members of various communities prayed for our people and country. The visitors expressed confidence that the solidarity and tolerance of different peoples rooted in Azerbaijan will continue.

Sayavush Heydarov, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations, said that the main purpose of the visit was to promote the traditions of religious diversity and tolerance, which are the spiritual wealth of our country.

It should be noted that some Muslim communities also took part in the pilgrimage organized for members of the Christian religious community on the occasion of Easter.
