Kharkiv firefighters on Sunday were battling fire and destruction in the aftermath of Russian shelling hitting the city.

In the early afternoon, shells hit the central part of the city including several residential high-rise buildings.

The footage filmed on April 17 and provided by the Ukrainian SES (State Emergency Service) shows firemen trying to save a building and using a ladder to get to the windows of the burning structure.
