A lucky Chinese woman was rescued after a powerful wave swept her off her feet and knocked her down in Southern China.

In the video filmed by a bystander near the Qiantang River, the woman is seen on the shore filming the high tide. When a wave comes rolling in, she tries to run but is swept off her feet and gets washed over by the water.

Several people nearby then rush to her help and help her get out quickly.

The Qiantang River is located in China's Zhejiang province and flows into the East China Sea. Its tide is famous across the country and each year, several tourists get injured or even killed while watching the spectacle.

The video was filmed on April 16 and provided by local media with permission.
