Cheeky stray dog steals food from garden table in Thailand
This is the amusing moment a cheeky stray dog stole food from a garden table in Thailand.
Pornthep Boonsong, 36, bought a bag of curry to share with his colleagues in Krabi province on April 4. While they were busy getting plates and utensils to set the table, a stray with white fur wandered into the garden, apparently drawn by the smell of the food.
CCTV footage caught the sneaky pooch making sure the coast was clear before plucking the volunteers' lunch and trotting off with its meal. Pornthep was shocked when he returned to find the food missing, with only the white rice he had cooked earlier remaining on the table.
Pornthep checked the surveillance cameras and saw the canine burglar making off with their curry.
He said: 'I bought the side dish to eat with the rescue team. I put it on the table and went to get some plates for eating, but the whole bag of curry was missing when I came back.
'So I checked the surveillance cameras and saw that a dog with white fur had stolen it. While no one was around, it climbed onto the table and took the curry.'
Pornthep added that following the incident he will be more vigilant in guarding his food.
