A heart-warming video of two kittens getting rescued from a tea garden in eastern India’s West Bengal has emerged.

The incident took place at the Bharnobari Tea Garden, located in Kalchini area of Alipurduar district on April 17.

Visuals showed two wild kittens crying for help. Few men were seen walking towards them, one of whom was carrying a laptop in his hand and was seen working on it. These men crossed a bamboo stick entrance and started moving toward the kittens. They were then seen coming back from the tea garden with a medium-sized carton boxed.

They carried the kittens in the box, which was curiously gazed at by the local people. The local children gathered around the man carrying the box with kittens, who were then instructed to move away from the man who was standing close to the car with the box.

According to reports, forest workers and officers of Bharnobari Tea Garden rescued two wild kittens from 9 B section of the plantation. The officers first searched for the mother of these kittens, failing which they rescued the baby felines.

The kittens were taken to a rescue centre in Rajabhatkhawa. The kittens are five days old.
