Water inside an aquarium shook as a magnitude 5.9 earthquake hit southern Philippines today.

Video shows the tremors rattling a fish tank in a home in Panabo City, Davao del Norte province on April 19.

State seismological agency Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake struck at a depth of 49 kilometres some 54 kilometres south of Manay town. It occurred at 9:23 am local time.

Phivolcs added that no damage was expected, but the earthquake may generate aftershocks.
