Hero cop saves woman passenger from coming under train in northern India
A woman slipped while alighting a moving train and almost slid into the gap between the train and the platform in northern India's Uttarakhand on April 16. The incident took place in Haridwar.
Visuals feature the woman slipping while alighting the departing train. She almost slides under the train when an alert RPF official comes to her rescue and pulls her to safety. Another man tries to aid her as well but falls himself.
According to reports, train number 15005, Rapti Ganga Express, was leaving for Dehradun when the incident unfolded. Moreover, Railway Protection Force (RPF) Constable Dinesh Lal displayed vigilance and saved the woman passenger, Maneka Devi.
