Extended 4K highlights of hundreds of thrillseekers on children’s trikes racing down the ‘bendiest street in the world’. The event, ‘Bring Your Own Big Wheel’, took place on Vermont Street, in the Potrero Hill area of San Francisco, California on Easter Sunday (April 17, 2022).

The tradition has been taking place since the year 2000 but was cancelled due to covid in 2020 and 2021. This free, irreverent annual event brings hundreds of spectators to watch kids and adults, many wearing costumes, ride down the city’s crookedest street - which has 7 hairpin bends and a 14.3 percent gradient.

The bendy street has been featured in movies such as 1973’s Magnum Force where Clint Eastwood as Dirty Harry maneuvers around its hairpin turns and in the 1968 film, Bullitt, where Steve McQueen pilots his Mustang.
