Pot smokers gather at the 420 annual event in Hyde Park for celebratory toke
Scores of weed-lovers descended onto London's Hyde Park to observe 420 Day, celebrated globally by smoking cannabis (April 20).
Whilst some revellers celebrated the drug, others gathered to raise awareness of the drug and call for its legalisation.
At 4:20pm the crowd lit-up the spliffs, following the legend of the Californian high-school students who met to smoke marijuana during the afternoons in 1971 - and 420 became a code for smoking weed.
