US: Cooks Peak Fire – Firefighting Plane Performs Fire Retardant Drop In Ocate, NM
The Cooks Peak Fire in Mora County, New Mexico which started on April 17 has ballooned to 20,000 acres as of April 20.
The fast-moving fire prompted evacuation orders for several of the communities near the area.
This video taken on April 18 shows a firefighting plane performing a fire retardant drop.
