A storm chaser captured a stunning timelapse of storm clouds rolling across the sky in Temple, Texas.

The filmer told Newsflare: "The first timelapse is of a previously tornado-warned storm shedding its old mesocyclone as a new one forms directly overhead.

"The second timelapse is as that mesocyclone moves away and becomes obscured by rain. The third timelapse is as a second supercell dropping golfball-sized hail moves directly toward my position and overtakes me."

This footage was filmed on April 12.
