A stray kitten was rescued after being found trapped inside the wall of a ramen restaurant in Thailand.

The tiny feline fell into the cramped wall from a hole in the building's ceiling in Bangkok, Thailand on March 25.

Staff became concerned after hearing the kitten's persistent cries coming from behind the wall and confirmed the animal was indeed inside.

They called a technician, who carved an opening into the wood, after which they found the tiny feline seemingly disoriented.

Cook Nattaphol Kankaew said: 'I think it was following its mother but accidentally fell. The wall is hollow, that's why the kitty was stuck inside.'

The cat was unhurt and given food before a staff took it home to take care of until someone could adopt it.
