What could be better on a hot and sunny bank holiday weekend than enjoying an ice cream on Rodborough Common near Stroud, Gloucestershire, made by a family-run business that is fast approaching its centenary year? That’s what 8,000 people did over the Easter bank holiday weekend when they visited Winstones Ice Cream.

Tom Vear, sales director, is fourth generation of the family showed how their famous ice creams are made, and explained a bit about the new range of dairy-free ices.

The company was established in 1925 by Tom’s great-grandparents, and still uses the same ice cream recipe to this day.
