Daring cop pulls out man from jaws of death after latter slips boarding moving train in western India

This is the miraculous moment a passenger survived after an alert policeman pulled him to safety, moments after he slipped while boarding a moving train in western India.

The incident took place at the Mumbai Central railway station in the eponymous city on April 24.

Visuals showed the passenger running to catch the train. As soon as he boards the compartment, he slips and falls in the gap between the platform and the footboard of the train. Fortunately, a policeman notices the distressed passenger and immediately pulls him out to safety.

According to reports, RPF ASI Harendra Singh saved the passenger, who has been identified as 28-year-old Rahul Singh.

Speaking to Newslions, Md Hanif, Security Commissioner, RPF, Mumbai Central, said that the passenger suffered minor internal leg injury. He was given first aid and later sent to Nair Hospital for treatment.

The passenger is fine now, the senior cop added.
