A curious cat in Taiwan showed why mere hoomans can never hope to understand the feline mind, when it jammed its head into its owner's glass rather than drink water out of its own bowl.

Footage taken in Taichung shows the thirsty kitty, named Lolita, trying to squeeze her face into the glass to reach the water at the bottom, lapping up what little it can of the drink.

Bizarrely, the hapless feline chose to do this instead of drinking from its own container.

Pet owner Yumi Hsu said: 'She has her own drinking bowl, but was too lazy to drink there. She saw this glass and drank there instead.'

This is the amusing moment a thirsty cat could not fit her head through a glass of water to drink in Taiwan.
