An adorable giant cat mascot sold pudding cups in a department store in Japan.

Footage shows the fluffy mascot speaking to customers in one of their pop-up shops in Matsuyama.

Saka No Ue No Neko, a pudding store that makes Japanese-style creme caramel desserts, 'hired' the giant cat named Miku to help sell their products .

The giant cat character travelled across the country in their pop-up stores to sell the sweet treats. In the video, Miku could be seen standing at the pudding counter greeting customers.

Saka No Ue No Neko also donates part of the store’s profits to an organisation that works to protect stray cats.
