Two bats clung to their favourite toys as they were moved to their new rehabilitation compound to recover from their injuries.

The duo named Motek and Mohammed were rescued by the Israeli Bat Sanctuary in Tel Aviv in 2018.

In November of the same year they were given the green light to move to a bigger cage to stretch their wings.

The two little bats in the video, Motek and Mohammed, were badly injured. Both bats suffered from nasty fractures on their arms and wings. When they were rescued by The Israeli Bat Sanctuary they were taken to medical care and treated for their fractures. They were placed in a well padded small cage, to limit their movement and speed recovery.
On November of 2018 both Motek and Mohammed got the thumbs up and official recommendation from the vet that they can move to a bigger cage and stretch their wings.
The sweet volunteer who treated them while in recovery gently introduces them to their new "penthouse" for the next few weeks till they're all better and can be released back to nature.
