Rescue teams searched for survivors amid the wreckage of a bridge that collapsed killing four people in the Philippines.

Footage taken on April 28 shows rescuers and divers conducting search and rescue operations in the river after the steel truss Clarin Bridge collapsed in Loay town, Bohol province on Wednesday April 27.

The tragic incident killed four people, including an Austrian tourist on honeymoon with his pregnant wife, while 23 others were rescued after falling into the fast-flowing river below.

Bohol governor Art Yap blamed the collapse of the decades-old structure on overloading and stationary traffic. The bridge had also been damaged by a magnitude 7.2 earthquake in 2013.
