Philippines killer collapsed bridge seen this morning in fast-flowing river
Footage shows the steel truss Clarin Bridge submerged in a fast-flowing river this morning after it collapsed killing four people in the Philippines.
The tragic incident killed four people, including an Austrian tourist, while 23 others were rescued after falling into the raging Loboc River below in Loay town, Bohol province, on April 27.
Bohol governor Art Yap blamed the collapse of the decades-old structure on overloading and stationary traffic. The bridge had also been damaged by a magnitude 7.2 earthquake in 2013.
