Rescuers in northern India were faced with a hefty problem recently: how to get a cow out of a deep roadside ditch.

Local authorities in the Etawah District of Uttar Pradesh decided their best bet was to send an aptly named bulldozer to the scene.

Rescuers tied a thick rope from the digger to the bovine's neck and hauled the animal to safety.

The operation on April 25 took between two and three hours.

A cow which fell into a 10 feet deep nullah was rescued by the municipal department with the help of JCB .
The rescue happened on 25th April in Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh .
According to locals during morning hours when they saw a cow into the nullah they immediately called the local municipality office and informed them about it , the municipal team after reaching spot decided to call the JCB to pull out the cow .
The rescue team tied and thick rope around the neck of the cow and pulled the cow out with the help of JCB . It took them around 2-3 hours to rescue the cow
