A rare turtle with a yellow shell was rescued by a resident in Soro, Odisha.

A villager named Dibesh Behera found the bizarre animal in his pond and informed the local forest department.

The officials then rescued the turtle.

One rare of the rarest type of Turtle rescued from Simulia village under Barang Panchyat of Soro Block,Balasore. The Turtle was marked by the pond owner Dibesh Behera, while it was moving on the embankment of pond. Mr.Behera informed it to the villagers as well as to the forest department. Later forest department rescued it .This is the case in Odisha, the eastern state of India.
