Exclusive footage captured on Wednesday (May 4) shows medics treating a man who was injured by a Russian missile strike in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv on Tuesday.
Andriy was blown off his motorcycle by the force of the blast.
"I took off my pants and saw that there were a lot of fragments in my leg and the fact that I couldn't feel my legs," he says after being examined by doctors at a hospital in the Shevchenkivskyi District.
Missiles damaged three power substations and knocked out electricity, according to Ukrainian officials.

Lviv was fired at around 9 pm. The city was hit three times by Russian strategic bombers Tu-95 or Tu-160. Two of the six cruise missiles shot down air defense forces over the Lviv region. Three missiles hit electrical substations. One hit the territory of the neighboring Transcarpathian region. Two people who were near the explosion sites were injured. Now they are in the hospital. A 24-year-old guy has mine-explosive shrapnel wounds, he was operated on. As a result of the shelling, there were power outages in the region, as well as delays in the departure and arrival of trains.
The condition of two victims of yesterday's rocket attack in the Lviv region is light, but one of them will need a second operation to remove fragments. This was announced in Telegram by the chairman of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maxim Kozitsky.
According to him, the night before, Russian strategic bombers Tu-95 or Tu-160 launched a missile attack on the Lviv region.
"According to preliminary information, out of six cruise missiles, our air defense forces shot down two over the Lviv region. Three hit electrical substations in the Lviv region. One hit an electrical substation in Transcarpathia," Kozitsky said.
