Quick-thinking father rescues son from being crashed into by forklift
A quick-thinking father rescued his son from being crushed by a driverless forklift in eastern China.
CCTV video filmed in the city of Dongying in Shandong Province on May 3 shows a boy laying on the ground playing with his brother..
However, an out of control forklift suddenly jolted across a road and crashed into the parked bicycles near the boys.
The boys' father spotted the incident and quickly dragged his son that was on the floor away from the oncoming vehicle.
Thanks to the father, the boy only had skin trauma on his heel .
According to reports, the forklift driver accidentally touched the accelerator when he was repairing the vehicle, causing the driverless vehicle to move across the road.
The boys' mother Ms Wang said they sell the bicycles for living and the two boys are both their sons.
The forklift driver compensated 30,000 yuan (£3,608) to Wang for her loss.
