Students at a Sri Lankan university in Colombo, the capital city, clashed with police near the parliament entrance over continued protests over government ineffectiveness on May 5.

SriLankan university students protested against the government clashing with police as tear gas & water cannons were used to disperse the protesters at the main entrance of the parliament at Colombo, Sri Lanka. Later the protesters occupied the area where the protest took place and named it Horugogama.
