Officials smash through local's floor to rescue huge 19-foot python in Indonesia

A team of officials in North Jakarta, Indonesia, broke through a resident's floor to rescue a huge 19-foot-long python.

The homeowner alerted the fire brigade after they found the serpent in the waterway underneath their home.

Footage from May 5 shows the team pulling the elusive python out of a hole they dug.

Two light rescue units and seven personnel were dispatched to catch the snake.

Once caught, the python was put into a cage by North Jakarta Fire Department.
