A man slipped and fell while trying to board a moving train in southern India's Andhra Pradesh.

The incident happened on May 3 at the Adoni Railway station when the man fell on the platform but was rescued by a policeman.

CCTV footage captured the whole incident where the man, reportedly warned against boarding a running train, did so and fell down. People started coming in and crowding the place following the policeman's heroic act.

The passenger, identified as Prakash, had deboarded the Rayalaseema Express (12793) for tiffin and was in a hurry to catch it when it started.

Prakash was saved from serious injuries by a policeman identified as RPF SI D.Raghu Prasad, who was on night duty at the platform.

Having sustained minor injuries, the man continued his journey on another train.
