Mother abandons 5-month-old baby at bus stand in central India
A mother abandoned her five-month-old baby at a bus stand in central India's Madhya Pradesh on May 6. The incident took place in Nowgong, located in the Chhatarpur district.
Visuals feature the baby resting in the child unit of a hospital. The nurses feed milk to the child, following which the infant falls asleep.
According to reports, the locals alerted the authorities upon spotting the abandoned child. Following this, the infant was shifted to the community center and further sent to the district hospital, where the doctors declared the infant's condition stable.
