On the occasion of "Mother’s Day", International Sand Artist Manas Kumar Sahoo has created a beautiful Sand Art sculpture in honour of all The Mothers on the Golden Sea Beach of Puri near the Light House .

A portrait of 'A Mother and her child' has been beautifully carved out of sand by Mr.Manas, the glance of which urges the public never to forget the unconditional love of their Mothers. A Mother, the most beautiful creation of God loves her child unconditionally who cannot be compared with any other creation in this World. She deserves to be loved each & every day in real life & not just on Mother’s Day. This is what Mr.Manas has tried to convey through his Sand Art.

And to sculpt this beautiful eye soothing Sand Art, it took Mr.Manas about 7 hours to be built in which about 12 tons of sand has been consumed. The sand sculpture is about 12 feet wide with a deep message carved in it which reads as "HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY" !.
