U2's Bono and The Edge perform in Kyiv metro station used as bomb shelter

Bono and The Edge from rock band U2 were performing in a bomb shelter in Kyiv on Sunday after being invited by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The Irish band shared on Twitter that "President @ZelenskyyUa invited us to perform in Kyiv as a show of solidarity with the Ukrainian people and so that's what we've come to do. - Bono and The Edge #StandWithUkraine."

The footage filmed on May 8 shows frontman Bono and guitarist The Edge playing to a small crowd of fans including Ukrainian military. They are performing several U2 songs but also sing the Ben E King classic "Stand By Me" alongside Ukrainian soldiers.
