This festival held in Quang Ninh, Vietnam, sees dancers hop across a pile of burning embers as a crowd watches on.

This is an important traditional festival in the spiritual life of the Dao ethnic group. The festival is to commemorate the merits of Ban Vuong - the ancestor of the Dao people who took his descendants to find new land.
