Bus balancing above river after accident in Tirana to serve as 'warning' to motorists
A bus that collided with a car and ended up balanced over the Lana River in Albania's capital will remain in position to serve as a warning to motorists to pay attention.
Footage from May 9 shows the bus positioned over river.
Tirana's Mayor Erion Veliaj posed a question to the city on his social media: "Fortunately, the strange accident in a century in the capital was without consequences for life!
"But while we were preparing to remove the bus over the Lana many people proposed to leave it as an installation for care at the steering wheel and an alternative bridge over the Lana! What do most people think?”
The people voted in favour of keeping the bus in its place.
