Cool toys, figurines, and cultural artefact replicas were displayed at the Thailand Toy Expo 2022 in Bangkok.

The nerdy exhibition ran from April 28 until May 1 at the Central World Shopping Centre, and showcased a wide variety of toy figures including Harry Potter characters, Hatsune Miku, Astroboy, and even Marilyn Monroe.

A 'Spiritual Zone' section was also opened where visitors can see Buddhist and Thai-themed amulets and sculptures. Among the figures featured were the Yaksha temple guardians, Ganesha from the Hindu pantheon, and gilded miniature Khon masks used in Thailand's classical dance-dramas.

The exhibition is now it its 10th year, and was organised with the help of the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau, which envisions the event as a platform for Thai artists and toymakers to advertise their works.
