Man drops down into river to rescue stranded dog in China
A heroic man lowered himself down into a river to rescue a stranded dog in southern China.
Video filmed in the city of Nanchang in Jiangxi Province on May 7 shows a dog trapped in a river and struggling to climb up a wall.
A man then climbed down the wall to approach the dog and held it up to hand it over to another person on the shore.
After the dog was rescued, the person on the shore then helped the man to get back to safety.
A witness named Gao said that it was dangerous as there were whirlpools in the water. The brave man knew the conditions of the water so he went to rescue the dog.
The dog’s owner did not show up at the end and the dog walked away by itself.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
