This is the adorable moment a clingy pet dog climbed onto a motorcycle after refusing to be left in the house alone.

The eight-month-old pup named Maxma whined as her owners were leaving for work in Oriental Mindoro province, the Philippines on April 7.

Pet owner Noemi Asi and her husband tried to comfort the pooch, saying they would go for walks upon returning. Maxma was having none of it, however, and she sat on the motorcycle's pillion in a last-ditch attempt to keep her owners at home.

Noemi said: 'This has become an everyday scene for us. I took a video because I wanted to show our parents what Maxma does when we try to leave the house.'

The pet owner added they usually bring Maxma along on their trips, but when they can't, they leave her behind with Noemi's mum.
