Group of men started cleaning the grave of former dictator Pres. Ferdinand E. Marcos at Libingan ng mga Bayani (Cemetery of Heroes) in Taguig City, Philippines.
Elmer who is cleaning the bench said that he voted for Bongbong Marcos Jr. and that he is happy that his presidential candidate is winning the presidential bid.and he is looking towards a brighter future for the Philippines.
Earlier in the morning of May 11, 2022, leading presidential candidate Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. emotionally visited the grave of his father at Libingan ng mga Bayani.
In November 18, 2016, the burial of the late dictator is controversial issue in the Philippines because according to Martial Law victims this is reopening the wounds inflicted by Pres. Marcos 21-year rule marked by human rights atrocities.
