Residents of Bac Giang in northern Vietnam worked frantically to prevent floodwaters from entering their homes recently.

Flash flooding has affected thousands of homes in three mountainous northern provinces and killed at least one person.

Video captured the moment of people trying to prevent flash floods from entering their homes with all the things they have in Bac Giang, Vietnam.
Local residents said that heavy rain in the area was the cause of flash floods that made them unprepared. After the loud noises from the top of the mountain a huge stream of water flooded the area and they could only use everything they had to block the floodwaters.
In the video, people used wood, plastic, brass, and sand sacks to stop the water from entering the house. After more than 2 hours, the flood water receded, but their area was severely damaged by the flood.
