A cryptocurrency themed cafe was eerily quiet today following an epic crash that saw billions wiped off its value.

The Moon Crypto & NFT Cafe opened in Bangkok, Thailand at the peak of the digital currency's popularity around two years ago shortly before the price of a Bitcoin soared to 69,000 USD.

However, the futurist Thai cafe - which includes an NFT gallery and a clinic for investment advice - appears to have followed the fortunes of Bitcoin and is now also deserted.

Interest in the obscure creations - including the latest in the form of digital art - has plunged in recent months. A market crash this week has seen Bitcoin fall as low as 25,000 USD while 'alt coin' Luna has become virtually worthless with the price dropping by more than 99 per cent.
