Unique Evacuation. East Jakarta Firefighters Evacuate Residents' Banknotes Fall into Waterways
East Jakarta Fire & Rescue Sub-Department officers attempt to retrieve 100,000 thousand Rupiah belonging to a resident who fell in the waterway on Jl Al Baido, Lubang Buaya, Cipayung, East Jakarta, Friday afternoon.
The head of the operational section (Kasieops) of the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaiman, in his written statement, said that the 100 thousand notes fell into the water channel when the owner was taking the cellphone in his pocket, suddenly the money that was in the bag was carried away and fell into the sewer hole.
Thanks to the alertness of the officers, the money belonging to the residents was successfully evacuated and returned to the owner.
