Thai Buddhist monks and people walk around a temple three times carrying candles and flowers to celebrate Vesak Buddha Day.
Taken at a unique Buddhist temple that is built in style of a Christian church, but decorated inside as a Buddhist temple. This temple is located at Balen Island, at Bang Pa In Thailand. Access to the temple is via a cable car. The monks and faithful walk around the temple 3 times and carry flowers and candles as they pray. It is a beautiful tradition.
