Helmet saves scooter rider's life after he crashes into steel pipes transported on truck in China
A helmet saved a scooter rider's life after he crashed into steel pipes transported on a truck in southern China.
Video filmed in the city of Qinzhou in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on May 14 shows a scooter rider colliding head-first with steel pipes hanging out of a truck.
The helmet then flew off of the rider's head and the biker fell down onto the ground.
According to local reports, the steel pipes on the truck were too long and although the vehicle had already moved out of the road, the steel pipes knocked the scooter rider over.
Luckily, the scooter rider wore a helmet and he was not injured seriously.
