Car propelled into ditch after collision with oncoming train in southern China
A car was propelled into a ditch after a collision with an oncoming train in southern China.
Dramatic video filmed in the city of Guiyang in Guizhou Province on May 17 shows a car driving across a railway track being crashed into by an oncoming train repeatedly honking.
The train then dragged the car along the track for several metres before it was thrown to the side of the track.
According to reports, the section of the road had a warning sign saying: "Watch out for the train. Stop first, take a look and then pass through."
However, the car did not stop to check before driving across the track.
The car was damaged but the people in it were not injured seriously.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
