Firefighters managed to successfully resuscitate a cat after extinguishing a blaze in Kovrov, western Russia.

The feline named Tyson had inhaled carbon monoxide and could barely move when the firefighters found it.

Using breathing apparatus, the firefighters managed to get the cat to resume breathing before giving it some water.

This footage was captured in December 2019.

While extinguishing a fire and carrying out rescue operations in a burning house in the city of Kovrov, firefighters found a cat. He inhaled carbon monoxide and barely moved. Firefighters gave the cat air from a breathing apparatus, gave it water to drink and returned it to its owners. By the time the firefighters left, the cat Tyson came to his senses.
