Girl slips while trying to board running train, saved by policeman in central India
A young girl was saved by the police after she slipped and fell while trying to board a running train in central India's Madhya Pradesh.
The incident happened on May 18 on platform number four at Ratlam Junction railway station.
Visuals show the 11-year-old girl, identified as Zara slipping and falling after she ran to board the train, number 12962 (Avantika Express). She was trying to reach out and grab the outstretched arm of her father Fakruddin Tinwala, who was on the train.
As she slipped, a policeman came to her rescue and prevented her from falling within the gap between the train and the platform.
Head constable Pramod Patil, who was standing at the spot during that time, managed to push the girl back into the train after she slipped, which avoided a major accident.
